FROM THE EXECUTIVE HEADS OFFICE
Dear Parents and Carers,
In case you missed it the other week, please find a copy of the school's Homework Policy HERE. We worked on this last term in order to provide clarity around our expectations for any home learning tasks that we send home. We hope you will find it useful. I have asked all class teachers to let you know of the actual days on which homework will be set and due in, as this varies by class.
We plan to complete a full review of the policy in the summer term and will be asking for feedback at that time
Please see below the regular update of the lastest information regarding Leave of Absence requests. All requests should be made in advance by a resident parent and submitted to me for consideration.
Best Wishes,
Mrs Plaskitt

Thank you to the children for all the amazing entries to the School Council logo competition, there have been so many fantastic entries...it's going to be an extremely hard job for the School Council to decide which logo best encapsulates the Schools Creed amd Values!!!
The School Council are meeting tomorrow to place their 'secret' votes, no entry names will be visible and it will be done in the fairest way possible!!

VACANCY - SNITTERFIELD SCHOOL KITCHEN
New to YOUniform Recycle Scheme
Laurie's mum (Class 3), Rachael Osmotherley, has made a great suggestion to trial a second hand uniform service, covering almost all items of school clothing. Although primarily run as a service to parents and the environment rather than as a fund-raiser, it could still generate a small and welcome amount into the school fundraising pot, and will save parents a fair amount of money too.
All items will be available at the bargain price of only £1 each. This means that you can buy several school outfits without it costing a fortune - so that you don’t have to worry about them getting their uniform dirty during the week or having to do additional loads of washing to ensure they always have a clean outfit to hand!
The uniform will be checked carefully to ensure it is in good, clean condition and we'll let you know when the "New to YOUniform" Playground Sales will take place (essentially when we have a decent amount of uniform in stock).
Donating Uniform
The service won't be able to run without uniform donations. So, if you have any good, clean uniform that you would be happy to donate, we would gratefully have it from Monday onwards. Please either put your used uniform (bagged) into the plastic box that will be outside class 4's exit into playground, in the disabled toilet opposite the office, or directly to Rachael.
Specifically, we are looking for donations of the following items, branded or non-branded (i.e. with or without the Snitterfield School embroidered logo), but NO WHITE T-SHIRTS please:
- Green cardigan
- Green jumper
- Grey trousers
- Grey skirt
- Grey pinafore
- Green (official) PE shorts
- Summer checked dress
- Summer checked girls trouser suit
- Snitterfield branded jacket
- Snitterfield branded book bag
