In the words of the great bard of Walsall, Neville "Noddy" Holder, "Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall?" I can hardly believe that we're almost at the end of term!
It's been another COVID and general lurgy effected month in school. Thanks to all of you for your continued support of our COVID safety measures, particularly those of you who have had to endure testing and retesting over the last few weeks. We are acutely aware that it is a stressful business, so once again - THANK YOU! Sadly we have again had to cancel the Key Stage 1 Nativity again this year following advice from the Local Authority - its a real shame, but there is still much to look forward to and much that has happened to celebrate.
Our School Council has been very active this month. They arranged a hugely successful day in support of BBC Children in Need on Thursday 18th November. The cake sale was so well supported by you that we were able to carry it over for a second day!
Whilst teeth and waistlines might have suffered, it was well worth it - I am delighted to reveal that thanks to the generosity of the Snitterfield family and a contribution from or next door neighbours at the nursery, we raised a whopping £327!!! The Council have also organised our collection for Stratford Foodbank (which continues next week by the way!) - and will deliver our donations to the warehouse on Wednesday 15th December.
The School was honoured to take part in the Village Remembrance Sunday service this year. Huge thanks to our Head Boy, Etien, and Head Girl, Anna, who turned out in their school uniform to lay a wreath on behalf of all the staff and children of the school.
